Koster's Kaffeehaus in Datteln

Corona, AHA rules, lockdown, 60th birthday, what to do? We ordered 2 vesper boxes for the evening, each with a small bottle of wine, at Köster's coffee house (would be for 4 people) and had a wonderful, cozy birthday meal, which leaves nothing to be desired. It was incredibly delicious, lovingly made and served. I can only recommend it, that's why I (Anette) like to come from Frankfurt to my hometown of Datteln. I'm looking forward to feasting again this year in the open cafe. Hold on, we'll definitely be back. Kind regards Anette and Horst

Wonderful, lovingly run café with delicious cakes, great breakfast and really good coffee. Incredibly friendly service and a beautiful half-timbered ambience. Definitely recommendable!

Small and cozy

First they complain about the lack of staff. Then you get promised a trial work that you wait 11 months for? If people with tattoos are not welcome, you should firstly be open and honest and secondly, if necessary, revise your job advertisements. I don't have many tattoos, but the boss couldn't look me in the eye during the entire conversation, only at the tattoos. Zero symphony, very superficial. So I'm not surprised that the staff is running away. -1 ☆ at least. ---- what do you expect to find at 9.35 € gross?

Like in grandma’s times, homemade cakes according to old recipes, homemade sausage, delicious bread, quality and taste are taken into account here, Ms. Köster purchases regionally and sustainably, the coffee house is lovingly decorated, the staff very friendly and competent, highly recommended 👍👍👍

Beautiful ambience and delicious treats

We were with six people shortly before the Corona Kriese for Sunday brunch in this restaurant. It is small but nice, as the saying goes. The service was very friendly. The offer was extensive, fresh and delicious on top of that. I would happily recommend it.

Top and the service suuuuper attentive! You have to pay attention to the small steps in the room, but that is what makes the old house so special! To recommend!

Very cozy and quaint. A small coffee house in country style. Small but nice. Rich offer. We recommend. Times, however, should pre-order the table. How do you say it simply "the store is buzzing". We are so excited that we will definitely stay there again and enjoy our breakfast. Oh some the prices there so what a great!

Beautiful and cozy atmosphere, which does not emphasize the usual clearance of the masses, but on quiet and family get-togethers. The relationship between price and performance is absolutely fine. The staff stands out with friendly attention and a warm welcome. The buffet is the size of the restaurant and the number of guests adequate and very good quality. For every taste can be guaranteed to find something, everything else is complaining at a high level. We have been there many times and will keep coming back.

Quaint, cozy, delicious! Breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Scrambled eggs and oats are served fresh at the table. Very friendly and attentive service. Sausage selection also offers regional treats. Ambience as comfortable as the home-style living room. We recommend. Sanitary facility in the basement.
